The Sounds Of Earth

Nasa launched the Voyager satellite in 1977, attached to the side of the spacecraft was the Voyager Golden Record containing sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth. In 2012 Voyager reached interstella space and today in crashed upon an alien planet.

Listen to the original recordings, running on the record to speed it up by pressing a,s,d. You have until the needle reaches the end of the record, use the speed meter to help you get the correct speed. When you think you know the sound choose from on of the three images from the telescope.
